RADIESSE FILLERS & LIFT

Radiesse Filler & Lift | RJ CLINIC

Most people knew or heard of Hyaluronic Acid (HA) filler. But many people have not heard of Radiesse or Radiesse plus.

It is a type of dermal filler used by physician to enhance or rejuvenate the skin.
It is manufactured in Germany under the Merz Aesthetic company.

It is a popular dermal filler that has been used for many years to address facial wrinkles and volume loss. It is composed of calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres suspended in a gel carrier.

It is injected into the skin. It provides immediate volume and stimulates the production of collagen. This helps to achieve long-lasting results.

HA FILLERS VS RADIESSE PLUS

The difference lies in the molecular structure between two fillers. Radiesse Plus is not made of Hyaluronic Acid. The main active component of is Calcium Hydroxylapatite (CaHA).
Radiesse Plus contains Calcium Hydroxylapatite (CaHA) molecules. These molecules start working immediately by stimulating collagen production through an inflammatory process. This is in contrast to regular hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers which degrade over time.
In long run, due to its collagen-stimulating capability, the result lasts longer than a normal HA filler. Because of better collagen framework under the skin, the skin gets a better complexion as well.

IS IT SAFE?

It has been in the market for more than a decade. With more than 7,000,000 injected worldwide, the volume speaks for itself. Technically, the CaHA molecule is 100% identical to our bone structure hence eliminating a full blown foreign body reaction/ inflammation.

Once degraded in 24 months, the Calcium molecules are being metabolised like normal Calcium in our body. US FDA is one of the strictest medical body in the world. It has approved Radiesse for face more than 5 years ago and recently approved for hand rejuvenation. With more than 50 large scale studies published, it is one of safest filler in the world.

WHAT IS RADIESSE LIFT?

Radiesse Lift is an advanced version of Radiesse application that specifically targets sagging skin and provides a lifting effect. It is designed to address moderate to severe wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds and marionette lines.
Radiesse Lift contains calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres. This concentration is higher than that of Radiesse. As a result, it is able to provide increased lifting and tightening of the skin.

Oh Yeah!!!! The golden question.. Is it painful?

Merz is kind enough to incorporate lidocaine (pain numbing solution) in the product so with proper injection, the pain is minimal. The PLUS behind the word Radiesse means it contains some lidocaine.
