PLATELET RICH PLASMA (PRP) TREATMENT
WHAT IS PLATELET RICH PLASMA (PRP)
Platelet-rich plasma therapy is therapy that can harness healing abilities from our own blood by using growth factors such as platelet derived growth factor (PDGF), transforming growth factor (TGF)-B1,2, epidermal growth factor and angiogenetic growth factor and fibrinogen. These helps to amplify the natural growth of our skin tissues. When introduced to damaged tissues, its been proven to promote healing and amplify the natural growth of our skin tissues .
PRP helps to rejuvenates your skin, boosts collagen production and improve skin laxity. It can also used on the hair to improve hair growth and reduces hair loss.
The process involves separating the blood cells from the plasma, the liquid part of blood.
After the treatment, you may feel your skin tightened, fresher and brighter
HOW WE DO IT
Blood drawn from patient and placed into sterile test tubes and placed in a centrifuge machine that separates the blood cells.
The correct portion is extracted and reintroduced (via microneedling or injection) to the face for rejuvenation.
Numbing creams are usually used to numb the treated areas before treatment
This in turns stimulates regeneration of new tissues, improving skin tone and collagen production. You will notice the skin to be more healthy, vibrant and plump.
BENEFITS OF PRP
When done regularly, it can help to give long lasting results in terms of facial and skin rejuvenation. You will see visible improvement in terms of hair regrowth, rejuvenation of tired eyes, improving skin laxity, brightness and complexion.

When combined with microneedling treatment, it helps to further stimulate collagen production through the effects of micro injury. This method of rejuvenation helps reduce acne scars, fine lines, restores skin hydration and glowing skin without the pain of injections.
