ACNE & ACNE SCARS

It is a skin condition that occurs due to plugged hair follicles with excess sebum and dead skin cells. The bacteria (Acne Vulgaris) subsequently proliferate in the clogged pores with sebum causing pustular acne and nodular acne.

Other contributing factors include hormonal imbalance, stress, unhealthy lifestyle, improper skincare, cosmetics and physical irritants like tudung, helmet, heat, etc. Common areas affected are face, neck, jaw line, chest, back and shoulders. It may also present at different severity and stages. It not only heals slowly but they do leave stubborn pigmented marks and textural uneven scars.
